Credits and Payment

Q. What are credits?

Credits are the usage points you spend on AI Data Foundry features. When a document is analyzed, credits are deducted based on its page count.

You can top up credits at Pricing.

Credits are applied automatically with each AWS Marketplace subscription renewal. See AWS Subscription & Billing for details.

Q. In what order are credits used?

There are three kinds of credits.

  • Welcome credits — Granted free of charge when you sign up.
  • Subscription credits — Granted with a monthly or annual subscription.
  • One-time purchase credits — Bought separately whenever you need them.

Credits are used in the order welcome → subscription → one-time purchase. When one kind is used up, the next one is used automatically.

Q. Where can I check my remaining credits?

On the project screen, check Credits in the left sidebar or the Credit usage panel on the dashboard.

To see how much you have used over time, click the profile button at the top right of the screen to open your account, then select Usage Status in the left menu. It shows your remaining credits along with recent usage.

Q. Are credits deducted even if analysis fails?

No. Credits are deducted only when document analysis completes successfully, and no credits are deducted when an analysis fails.

Q. What happens if I run out of credits?

If you run out of credits, workflows cannot be run and a notice is shown.

Top up credits at Pricing and try again.

Wait for your AWS Marketplace subscription to renew, or change your subscription product through AWS Marketplace. See AWS Subscription & Billing for details.
