Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be requested for paid AI Data Foundry subscriptions. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.

1. Refund eligibility

You may request a refund within 7 days of the payment date. How the request is handled depends on whether the credits granted by that payment have been used:

  • No credits used (within 7 days of payment) — You can request the refund yourself from the Payment History page and receive the full amount.
  • Some credits used (within 7 days of payment) — Self-service refunds are not available. Contact us through our customer support page and we will review your eligibility and get back to you.

Refund eligibility follows Article 17 of the Republic of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.

2. Non-refundable charges

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Payments more than 7 days old at the time of request.
  • Payments that have already been refunded.
  • Charges originating from accounts that have violated our Terms of Service.

For a payment with a refund already in progress, check again once processing completes. For payments where credits have been used, see Refund eligibility above.

3. Subscription cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the plan card on the Pricing page or from the Payment History page in your account. Once cancelled, your subscription does not renew from the next billing date onward, and no refund is issued for the current billing period. Your subscription stays active, and any remaining credits remain usable, until the end of the current period. Your next renewal date is shown on the Payment History page.

While a refund is being processed, subscription cancellation, plan changes, and cancellation reversal are unavailable.

4. How to request a refund

Eligible refunds can be requested directly from the Payment History page in your account.

If the refund option is not available for a purchase you believe is eligible, or if you run into any problem during the refund process, contact us through our customer support page. Including the email address associated with your account and the order ID from your receipt reduces the time needed to verify your refund request.

When a refund is requested, the remaining credits from that payment are placed on hold.

Once the payment provider approves the refund, the remaining credits placed on hold are forfeited, and for subscription payments the subscription is terminated at the same time. If the refund is declined, the credits that were on hold become usable again.

The refunded amount is returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.

5. Payments and billing

Payments for AI Data Foundry are processed by Paddle.com.

Paddle.com acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through our checkout system. This means Paddle handles payment processing, billing, VAT/sales tax handling, and related refund transactions. Charges may appear on your card statement or receipt under the name Paddle or Paddle.com.

6. Contact

For questions about this Refund Policy:

If you subscribed through AWS Marketplace, refunds follow AWS's own policy and process rather than AI Data Foundry's self-service refund policy above.

  • If you cancel a public (non-private) offer subscription within 48 hours of starting it, AWS Marketplace automatically issues a full refund.
  • For any other refund, you can request it directly from us as the seller, or through AWS Support.

See the refund guidance in AWS Subscription & Billing for the full procedure.
